As per our three rounds of democratic voting, our rank-and-file customer members voted to spend $100,000.00 on doing good works with the balance of our income for the year to be reinvested back into growing our cooperative. If we exceed our income expectations then how we should manage that windfall will come back to our customer members too.
While our financial year began on 1 July 2022, we were not in a position to start spending until this month (for now we are entirely volunteer run as a cooperative). This month we will provide an update on our good works spending. At the end of September, we can provide a full update on our quarterly income and how we are going with respect to investing back into the cooperative.
Note that the numbers on the table below relate to the project numbers on the democratic ballot.
