The Energy Saving Grants is an exclusive member benefit to help-out CoPower customer members to reduce energy use to save both money and carbon pollution. The $3,760 fund comes from revenue from our sales of gas which customer members voted to allocate to help customer members with CoPower Gas.
The Energy Saving Grant could be used for investing in efficient electric appliances, improving insulation and draught proofing with the these products:
- Air fryer
- Thermal insulating curtains
- Door draught stoppers (door snakes)
- Electric heaters
- Window glazing
$3,760 of gas revenue has been allocated to 8 grants, each to the value of $470 and the first round of grants will be open until 19 October and will be awarded on a merit basis.
Note: Eligible customer members can only receive one member benefit in this round of grants.

The Energy Saving Grant is open until 19 October 2025 and the first round of applications will be reviewed on 9:00am 20 October 2025. Thereafter the applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis until the fund is exhausted. Where there is an oversubscription funding will be allocated to those most in need.
