Pay It Forward

CoPower is excited to announce our new Pay It Forward scheme.  This provides the opportunity for customer members who have surplus electricity credits to donate them.  CoPower will then allocate the donated credits to those most in need who will then receive the donation as a bill credit.

Customer members got in touch with this suggestion to create a system that enables them to donate surplus electricity credits and share them with households across our cooperative. CoPower is committed to creating a community where all households can benefit from the transition to renewable energy.  Perhaps you find that your electricity bill is often in surplus as you have invested in solar panels and a battery system; this scheme provides you the opportunity to share the benefit with other households in our community.

If you would like to donate electricity credits, please email [email protected] stating the following:

• Customer number (or name and address)
• Amount of electricity credits you would like to donate to the Pay It Forward scheme
• Agree that you are donating this credit for CoPower to allocate using an equity indicator to other CoPower customer members.
